Belleville High School - 7 hr 20 minutes/day - 36 hr 40 minutes/week



Building Supervision/Program Monitor Position. Assist administration and teaching staff members in supervision and/or monitoring the movement of students throughout the high school building and grounds. The position will be assigned working hours that are flexible in relation to the student start time allowing for after school program supervision.

Must meet NCLB Highly Qualified requiremetns.

Duties Include:

Monitor/Supervise Halls/Parking lot as assigned.
Assist in the supervision of the cafeteria.
Monitor/Supervise after school activities as assigned
Monitor/Supervise in-school suspension and detention room as assigned.
Any other duties that administration deems necessary.

Must be able and willing to maintain the safety of students at all times. This requires the ability to intervene when students are actively engaging in physical or aggressive behavior (i.e. physical altercations and/or verbal altercations toward student/staff).

Must have completed or be willing to complete restraint training.


Must be able to move quickly throughout the building when assigned/contacted by administration.
Must be flexible with assigned duties.
Must have good communication skills.
Must be able to work a flexible work schedule that ends no later than 6:00 p.m.

 

Elwell Elementary School - 19 hr 50 minutes/week

 

TYPICAL DUTIES

Duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:

·        Assist student to and from the bus daily.

·        Responsible for receiving appropriate training in the specific care of student's physical and medical needs while attending school.

·        Responsible for the implementation of those physical and medical needs as prescribed in the training.

·        Must supervise student while in school and during any outside activities as directed by the supervising teacher.

·        Must assist student during any medical emergency that may arise.

Other related duties as deemed necessary by the teacher, supervisor, or building principal.

 

Two (2) GSRP paraprofessionals.  30 hr 20 min/week.  Must meet NCLB highly-qualified requirements.  Must have Child Development Associate (CDA) credentials, or be willing to obtain CDA credentions (must be obtained within 2 year period).

Special Education One-on-One Paraprofessional

Savage Elementary School - 19 hour 50 minutes

Typical Duties Include:

Requirements:

1.    Previous experience working with children or parenting

2.    Must be flexible and sensitive to needs of children.

3.    Restraint Training – must be willing to receive training in how to

       restrain children with severe behavior problems.

4.    Specified training , as may be required for this student.

5.    Will assist with academic skill development, sensory issues, and

        behavior management.

6.    High school graduate.

7.    Must meet NCLB highly qualified requirements.
