Video: The Motor City and You provides students with an in-depth understanding of how the automotive industry helped to shape the geographic and economic fabric of the city and the world. This program highlights how the auto industry's labor force changed and how the industry's production needs changed the geographic and architectural landscapes.

The Detroit Historical Museums' Motor City Exhibition portrays Detroit's history from the early 1900s to present through the eyes of the automotive industry. The unique interactive and video features of the exhibition allow on site and virtual visitors to see the dynamic history of the industry. Students are provided with a look at how workers on the line and consumers affect the economic and geographic history of metro Detroit.

CD ROM : The Motor City and You gives students a deeper understanding of how the automotive industry helped shape the geographic and economic fabric of Detroit and the world. This interactive medium allows students to discover how the auto industry’s labor force changed and how the industry’s production needs evolved. Highlights include:
