Video: Conservation, The Zoo, and You introduces students to the Detroit Zoological Institutes conservation initiatives. Viewers will discover how zoos work to help animals locally and around the world. Students will also be shown what they can do to help conserve wild animals and wild places. Students will also discover the careers of a variety of people that work at the zoo.

CD ROM : Conservation, The Zoo, and You introduces ongoing conservation efforts taking place at the Detroit Zoological Institute. Students will meet the people responsible for maintaining the Zoo and learn about possible careers. Students will create a frog, review case studies and develop a conservation action plan. They will navigate through a timeline to discover how attitudes towards animals at the zoo have changed over time. Students also have the opportunity to complete a Web Quest to assist them in designing a habitat.Highlights include:
